Its essence is obtained by successive distillations of its flowers. It is divided into different qualities according to the number and duration of distillations it has undergone. Its scent is very persistent with a &#8220;nail polish&#8221; effect. The notes are then powdery, fruity and spicy. There are also floral and almost leathery tones. In flower accords, the essence of ylang-ylang is used to replace or complete jasmine. We find ylang-ylang in many of our fragrances as <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"kilim (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/carrementbelle.com\/en\/eaux-de-parfum\/3-kilim.html\" target=\"_blank\">kilim<\/a>, <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"musc (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/carrementbelle.com\/en\/eaux-de-parfum\/1-musc.html\" target=\"_blank\">musc<\/a> and the <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\"musc originel (s\u2019ouvre dans un nouvel onglet)\" href=\"https:\/\/carrementbelle.com\/en\/eaux-de-parfum\/34-musc-original.html\" target=\"_blank\">original musc<\/a>.<\/p>\n<\/div><\/div>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Ylang-ylang is a tree grown today in Madagascar, Reunion Island and Mayotte.
