C&#8217;est un fruit \u00e0 noyau et \u00e0 la peau velout\u00e9e. Sa r\u00e9colte s\u2019effectue de juin \u00e0 ao\u00fbt et fait de lui le symbole de l\u2019\u00e9t\u00e9 gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 sa chair sucr\u00e9e. Le noyau d\u2019abricot permet d\u2019obtenir une huile. Celle-ci est tr\u00e8s utilis\u00e9e en cosm\u00e9tique pour son pouvoir hydratant, mais n\u2019est pas tr\u00e8s odorante. En parfumerie, on ne peut pas extraire d\u2019essence de sa chair. On reconstitue les notes douces et amand\u00e9es gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 la synth\u00e8se. L\u2019abricot apporte ainsi une nuance fruit\u00e9e et velout\u00e9e \u00e0 une composition.
