Lilac is a shrub that grows in warm and temperate regions. A symbol of spring, small flowers grow in bunches in shades of mauve, purple and white on sunny days. In its natural state, its fragrance is subtle, delicate and feminine. When the flower is cut, the scent evolves and becomes even heavier. Lilac gives off a floral scent with balsamic and green notes, which is also reminiscent of the scent of lily of the valley.
