The peach tree, a fruit tree of the rosaceae family from China, originated in Antiquity. Like the apple<\/a> or raspberry<\/a>, the fruit does not deliver essence in its natural state. Its velvety and fruity notes are then reproduced through synthesis. Perfumers generally use molecules<\/a> called lactones to recreate this soft and milky fruit aspect. For peach, the gamma-undecalactone molecule, synthesized at the beginning of the 20th century, is used. In a composition, this fruit brings a silky aspect and a fruity touch with subtle floral accents.
